Brief intro:

As Confucius pointed out, the age of 40 is the age of maturity and doubtless. China, after 40 years of Policy of Reform and Opening-up, is trying to develop its own identity by looking at its tradition and by addressing the challenges of the future. On one side we have the Confucian values, on the other side we have the needs of the digital society. Current Chinese trends are analyzed within the frame of economical, legal and cultural phenomenon and by emphasizing their traditional/historical and modern elements. The summer school will provide participants with an opportunity to better understanding current trends in China and to develop the necessary methodological skills to address China’s issues.
