Wan-Yi Liu, BA MA
Wan-Yi Liu is a PhD student and emerging researcher in the Department of East Asian Studies at the University of Vienna. She holds a diploma from the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan (2025), an MA in Theater Arts from Taipei National University of the Arts, and a BA with a double major in French and Chinese Literature from National Central University.
Over the past decade, she has worked as an independent producer in the performing arts, building collaborative projects with artists across Liyuanxi, Koa-á-hì, Potehi, and classical and contemporary theater and dance. Her research and practice center on reimagining Asian traditional performing arts through contemporary storytelling.
